Best Telecalling CRM and Software in India (2026 Buyer's Guide)
The best telecalling software for an Indian team is the one that matches how you call: a CRM with a dialer if people make the calls, or an AI voice agent if the calls are repetitive and speed matters. This guide compares telecalling CRMs on published prices, sets out seven criteria and shows where an AI layer fits beside them. Outpero publishes it and is an AI voice agent, not a full CRM, so it is covered as a complement.
What telecalling software is, and what a telecalling CRM adds
Telecalling software is a tool that helps a team of human callers make and manage phone calls: it dials numbers, assigns leads, records calls and tracks what happened next. A telecalling CRM is the part that remembers the customer: the lead record, the status, the follow-up date and the conversation history.
In India the two usually come bundled, because a telecaller works through a list of leads all day. A good tool answers four practical questions. Who should call this lead? What happened last time? When is the follow-up due? Did the team call enough leads today?
This is a different buying decision from an AI telecaller, which makes the calls itself. Our separate guide to AI telecalling software covers that. Here the question is how to manage a team of people and where an AI layer helps them.
Telecalling CRM and software compared on published facts
The table covers vendors whose pricing and features were verified from their own sites on 2026-10-14. Other telecalling CRMs exist and are not covered, because their pages were not verified for this guide. Prices exclude GST unless stated.

| Outpero | AI employee for calls | Standard ₹5 or Premium ₹6.8 per connected minute; number ₹649 a month; plus 18% GST | Call logs, a leads database, analytics, CSV export and webhooks; not a full CRM with pipelines | The product itself, in seven languages |
Some arithmetic helps. MyOperator's Sedan plan is ₹5,000 a month for 10 users, which is ₹500 a user, and SUV is ₹1,500 a user, both billed yearly: ₹60,000 and ₹1.8 lakh a year before GST. NeoDove's yearly price covers its stated plan, but the number of seats per plan is not stated on the pages checked, so ask for the per-seat figure.
Seven criteria for choosing telecalling software
- 01Lead intake. How do leads reach callers: CSV upload, Meta lead ads, Google forms, IndiaMART or JustDial exports, or an API? A tool that needs manual entry loses the speed advantage you were buying.
- 02Dialing mode. Click-to-dial, auto-dial and campaign calling save different amounts of time. Ask how many calls a caller completes in an hour with each mode on your own data.
- 03Follow-up discipline. Does the tool force a next-action date and remind the caller? Most lost leads are lost between conversations, not during them.
- 04Call recording and quality review. A manager should be able to hear a call within a minute of it ending, search by caller and mark good and bad calls.
- 05Reporting that managers use. Calls made, calls connected, talk time, follow-ups missed and leads by source, per caller and per day.
- 06Messaging. WhatsApp is how Indian customers confirm and pay. Check whether it is included, and whether the WhatsApp Business API is an extra cost. NeoDove and MyOperator both list it separately.
- 07Cost shape. Per seat, per concurrent line or per minute, with telephony, GST and onboarding spelled out. The pricing guide linked below sets out how to compare them.
Where each kind of tool is the better choice
- —You have a team of human callers who handle consultative or high-trust conversations: a telecalling CRM such as NeoDove, MyOperator or Knowlarity. This is where Outpero is weaker. It is not a pipeline manager, and it does not provide seats for your people.
- —You run a large contact centre with supervisors and compliance reviews: Exotel, Ozonetel or Tata Tele Smartflo, which are built for that scale and publish dialer types and uptime claims.
- —You need the phone system itself: toll-free numbers, virtual numbers, IVR and call routing. Knowlarity and MyOperator sell this directly, with published rupee prices for several of them.
- —You have more leads than callers, or leads arrive at night and at weekends: an AI voice agent calls every one within about 30 seconds and passes the real prospects to your callers.
Want to hear this working, not just read about it?
Putting an AI layer beside your CRM
Most Indian sales teams do not choose between a CRM and AI. They keep the CRM and put an AI voice agent in front of it for the first call. The logic is simple: the AI's job is to reach every lead quickly, find out whether they are interested and book the next step. The human's job is to close.
With Outpero the hand-off works in three ways. Each call produces a recording, a full transcript, a summary, sentiment and the custom fields you asked it to capture, such as budget, location or preferred time. Those results show in the dashboard's leads database and can be exported as CSV or sent to your webhook after every call, only completed calls or only voicemails. And when a person should take a call, the agent can transfer it to your team. It can also book a slot in a calendar and send a WhatsApp message during or after the call if you enable those actions.
Returning callers are recognised through caller memory, so a lead who rings back is not asked everything again. If your CRM can receive a webhook, the result lands in the lead's record as soon as the call ends. If it cannot, a CSV export works for a weekly review.
AI handles first contact, reminders, no-answer retries and after-hours calls. Humans handle negotiation, objections that need judgement and the final close. The CRM records both.
A seven-day trial that tells you the truth
- 01Day one: load 200 real leads from the last two months, not a clean demo file. Include duplicates and wrong numbers, since real lists have them.
- 02Day two: assign them to callers and time how long assignment, dialing and logging take per lead.
- 03Day three: make your callers update notes and follow-up dates only in the tool. Count how many get skipped.
- 04Day four: ask the vendor to produce the report your manager wants: calls, connects and follow-ups missed, by caller.
- 05Day five: test the export. Can you take your data out as CSV, with call recordings, without asking support?
- 06Day six: add the WhatsApp message and the call recording to one lead and check how long each takes.
- 07Day seven: ask what the real bill is for your headcount, including telephony, GST and add-ons.
To test the AI layer, run the same 200 leads past it on a different day, in the language each lead used on the enquiry form. Compare how many were reached within a day, how many produced a clear next step and what each result cost per conversation.
Data you should be able to take out
Whatever you choose, test the way out on day one. Export a week of leads, call outcomes and recordings, and open the file. A telecalling tool that holds your leads hostage is expensive however cheap it looks. Ask also what happens to recordings after you stop paying, how long the vendor keeps them, and whether you can delete a lead on request, since the DPDP Act gives customers rights over their personal data.
The same applies to AI calls. Outpero shows recording, transcript, summary and custom fields for every call in the dashboard, exports them as CSV and sends them to your webhook, so the lead history is yours to keep in whichever CRM you use.
Mistakes Indian teams make with telecalling software
- —Buying seats for a headcount that turns over every few months. Check what happens to licences and data when a caller leaves.
- —Paying for features the team never opens. Ask which three screens a caller uses daily and judge the product on those.
- —Ignoring regional-language coverage. A Tamil or Telugu enquiry assigned to a Hindi-only caller is a wasted lead. An AI agent that speaks the lead's language can do first contact while you hire.
- —Treating call recording as optional. It is the cheapest training material you will ever have.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a telecalling CRM and an AI voice agent?
+
A telecalling CRM helps human callers dial leads, record calls and track follow-ups. An AI voice agent makes the calls itself and holds the conversation. They fit together: the voice agent reaches and qualifies leads quickly, and the CRM holds the lead record and the human callers' follow-ups.
How much does telecalling software cost in India?
+
Published prices vary by model. NeoDove starts at ₹17,999 a year, MyOperator at ₹5,000 a month for 10 users billed yearly, Knowlarity's contact centre from ₹1,999 per agent a month, and Tata Tele Smartflo's Lite at ₹5,000 one-time plus ₹950 per licence a month. Outpero is ₹5 or ₹6.8 per connected minute plus GST.
Is Outpero a CRM?
+
No. Outpero is an AI voice agent with a dashboard that holds call logs, a leads database, analytics and CSV export, and it sends results to your webhook. It does not manage sales pipelines or human callers' seats. Use it beside the CRM you already have, or pair it with one.
Can an AI voice agent replace my telecallers?
+
It can replace repetitive first-touch work such as enquiry follow-up, reminders and no-answer retries, but not judgement-heavy conversations. Most teams keep their callers for negotiation and closing. A telecaller costs roughly ₹15,000 to ₹25,000 a month and handles one call at a time, so the saving is greatest where calls are routine.
What should a telecalling tool integrate with?
+
At minimum, wherever your leads originate: Meta lead ads, Google forms, your website, IndiaMART or JustDial exports, and your CRM. Outpero connects through webhook, Zapier or Make for portal leads, and sends results to your webhook. Ask any vendor to demonstrate your own lead source, not a demo one.
Do I need DND screening for telecalling in India?
+
Yes, for promotional calls. TRAI's rules require telemarketers to register and to respect the Do Not Disturb registry. Outpero calls from a DLT-registered line and screens bulk campaigns against DND. Whatever tool you use, ask how it handles both before loading a list.
The Outpero team builds AI voice agents for Indian businesses, in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Marathi, Kannada, Malayalam and English. Figures are from Outpero's own product unless another source is named.
