Best No-Code AI Voice Agent Builders in India (2026)
A no-code AI voice agent builder lets a business owner launch a calling agent without writing code, but products labelled no-code range from finished self-serve tools to developer platforms with a friendlier editor. For India, the deciding questions are who assembles telephony and DLT compliance, and what the real per-minute cost is. Outpero publishes this guide and is one of the products compared.
Three kinds of product share the label no-code
Vendors use the phrase no-code for very different things, so it helps to sort products by what you receive on day one.
- —Finished self-serve products. You describe the job, choose a language and number, and the agent works. The vendor has already chosen and connected the speech, language-model and telephony pieces. Outpero and, to a degree, EchoLeads sit here.
- —No-code builders. You assemble the agent in a visual editor, wiring prompts, tools, knowledge bases and call flows. Ringg AI's workflow canvas and Retell's drag-and-drop framework are examples. You make more decisions and get more control.
- —Developer platforms. An API or SDK that a developer builds on. Vapi, Bland and Bolna are the best known. Some offer a playground for non-developers, but the product is designed around engineering time.
None of these is better in the abstract. A team with an engineer and a very particular call flow may want a developer platform. A shop owner who wants appointments confirmed by tomorrow does not.
What the Indian market adds to the question
A voice agent in India is not just a model. It needs a compliant Indian number, a DLT-registered calling line for commercial calls, DND screening on outbound campaigns and a voice that handles Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Kannada or Malayalam with English mixed in. Global platforms are usually strong at the model layer and silent on the rest.
Check what each vendor's pages actually say about Indian telephony. In our review of vendor sites on 2026-10-14, Bland's pricing and docs do not mention India or DLT, Synthflow's directly bought numbers cover only the U.S., Canada and Australia, with other regions importing a Twilio or SIP number, and EchoLeads cites TCPA and DNC lists rather than DLT. None of that means a vendor cannot be made to work in India. It means the work falls on you.
Ten products on published facts
Entries use each vendor's own pages. Rows verified 2026-10-14 are marked; Bolna, Vapi, Retell and OmniDimension were verified 2026-07-30, so check their current pages. Gaps are shown as not published rather than guessed.

The real cost of a developer platform
Headline platform fees understate the bill. Vapi's pricing page states that model, speech and voice provider costs are billed separately on top of its $0.05 per minute fee, with a $10 a month charge for each additional concurrent line. Bland folds model, speech and voice cost into one per-minute rate, but bills telephony separately.
Dollar pricing adds currency risk and, for Indian businesses, GST questions to the sum. The bigger cost is time. Someone has to choose providers, write the prompt, handle failures, connect a number and make sure the setup is lawful for outbound use in India. A finished product moves that work to the vendor.
Where developer platforms are the better choice
Developer platforms win on flexibility. Bolna advertises 20+ speech and language models you can mix, which suits an engineering team that wants to hand-pick every layer. Retell claims about 600 ms latency, against Outpero's 0.8 to 1.3 seconds on average end to end, and offers a wide integration list. Bland publishes SOC 2, HIPAA and PCI DSS compliance, claims sub-400 ms latency and up to 1 million concurrent calls, and will give an enterprise a forward-deployed engineer.
Want to hear this working, not just read about it?
Synthflow lists 200+ integrations and its own telephony network. Ringg AI offers WhatsApp and chat agents and a visual canvas that gives a builder finer control than describing a job in words. If your agent is a product feature inside your own app, or you need unusual logic, these are better fits than a self-serve calling product.
Where a finished product is the better choice
Outpero is built for businesses that want the result without the assembly: a working agent in seven languages, a published price and a compliant Indian setup. It books calendar slots, reads and writes a spreadsheet, can call your API, sends WhatsApp messages and transfers a call to your team when a person should take over. Returning callers are recognised, so the next call picks up from the last.
It is not the right tool for a bank needing on-premise deployment, for languages outside Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Marathi, Kannada, Malayalam and English, or for very large concurrency. It is a voice product, not a platform for building chat and email agents.
Questions to put to any vendor before signing
- 01What exactly do I have to configure myself, and which choices are already made for me?
- 02Which Indian number do I get, who holds the DLT registration and who screens DND on outbound calls?
- 03What is the all-in price per connected minute, in rupees, with GST shown separately?
- 04Is there a monthly minimum, an annual contract or a fee for extra concurrent calls?
- 05Can I export recordings, transcripts and call data if I leave?
- 06What does support look like when a call goes wrong at 9 p.m.: a ticket, a forward-deployed engineer or nothing?
The answers sort vendors quickly. A developer platform will usually answer the first question with a long list. A finished product answers with a short one. Neither answer is wrong, but it tells you how much of your own time the tool will consume.
What a typical first week looks like
On a developer platform, the first days go into choosing providers, writing the prompt, connecting a number and testing interruptions. The agent may be excellent by day five, and an engineer may need to keep tuning it. On a no-code builder with a visual canvas, a non-engineer can usually reach a first working flow in a day, with more time spent on edge cases.
On a finished product such as Outpero, the first day goes into describing the job, uploading a list or connecting a lead source, and listening to test calls. The ongoing work is script review. This is faster to start and gives you fewer dials to turn, which is the point for most small teams but a limit for some.
Seven criteria for choosing a builder
- 01Time to first live call, measured by you with a stopwatch, not the vendor's claim of minutes.
- 02All-in cost per connected minute, including model, speech, voice, telephony, number and GST.
- 03Who owns Indian compliance: number, DLT, DND and calling hours.
- 04Language quality on your own recordings, including mid-sentence English.
- 05What the agent can do during a call: book, look up, call an API, send WhatsApp or transfer.
- 06What you can inspect afterwards: recording, transcript, summary, custom fields and webhooks.
- 07Lock-in. Prepaid credits that never expire and no contract are different from annual billing or a minimum commitment.
A two-hour bake-off
- 01Pick one task: confirming appointments for tomorrow, or qualifying an enquiry in Hindi or Telugu.
- 02Give three products the same written brief and a clock. Stop each at two hours.
- 03Note what was left undone at the stop: number connected, compliance set up, language checked, webhook working.
- 04Place ten test calls on each from different phones, including a noisy one and one speaking a mix of English and your language.
- 05Interrupt the agent mid-sentence, change language mid-call and ask something it should not know. Note how it fails.
- 06Total the real bill: platform fee, provider costs, number, minutes and GST.
Outpero offers 50 free credits at signup with no card, so the first test costs nothing. Most developer platforms offer a trial or free usage, though some enterprise vendors route trials through a sales call.
Frequently asked questions
What is a no-code AI voice agent builder?
+
It is software that lets someone launch an AI calling agent without programming. The range is wide: some are finished products where you describe the job, others are visual editors where you wire prompts, tools and flows, and some are developer platforms with a playground. Check what you must configure yourself before you rely on the label.
Is Outpero a no-code builder or a finished product?
+
A finished self-serve product. You describe the job, choose a language and number, and the agent runs, with the speech, language and telephony choices already made. That means less control than a visual builder or developer platform, which is the trade for starting the same day with a published price.
How does Outpero differ from Vapi, Retell and Bolna?
+
Vapi, Retell and Bolna are platforms you build an agent on, and their own pages describe API-first, drag-and-drop or connect-any-model setups. Outpero ships the finished agent with an Indian number, a DLT-registered line and a stated price. The platforms win on flexibility, and Retell claims lower latency than Outpero's 0.8 to 1.3 seconds on average.
What does a voice agent cost on a developer platform in India?
+
It depends on the providers you choose. Vapi's pricing page says model, speech and voice costs are billed on top of its $0.05 per minute fee, plus $10 a month per extra concurrent line. Bland charges $0.12 to $0.14 per minute with telephony separate. Add a number, GST and engineering time to compare fairly.
Do these platforms handle DLT and DND for India?
+
Several vendors do not mention either on their pages, including Bland, Vapi, Retell and Bolna, as checked. That does not mean it cannot be done, but it usually falls to you. Outpero runs on a DLT-registered line and screens bulk campaigns against DND. Always confirm compliance in writing with any vendor.
Which languages does a no-code builder need for India?
+
Test the exact language and the English mix your customers use. Outpero covers Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Marathi, Kannada, Malayalam and Indian English at one price. Some vendors claim 20 to 70 or more languages without naming them, and Synthflow's docs list only Hindi among Indian languages. Listen to a real call before deciding.
Can I start free before committing?
+
Yes. Outpero gives 50 free credits at signup, no card required, and credits never expire. Vendors vary: Retell advertises $10 of free usage, Bland's Start plan needs no card, and some enterprise vendors need a sales conversation. Run the same short test on each product so the comparison is fair.
The Outpero team builds AI voice agents for Indian businesses, in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Marathi, Kannada, Malayalam and English. Figures are from Outpero's own product unless another source is named.
