What is Auto-dialer?
An auto-dialer is software that dials phone numbers from a list automatically, so that an agent does not have to dial each number by hand.

It is an umbrella term covering predictive, power, progressive and preview dialing modes, and sometimes voice broadcasting systems that play a recorded message. Indian call centres use auto-dialers as standard for collections, insurance renewals and loan cross-sell campaigns. The dialer only connects the call; a human agent, or an AI agent, still has to conduct the conversation once someone picks up.
