What the comparison misses
Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri are voice assistants: software that listens to a command from the device owner and does one thing in response. They answer a question, set a timer, play a song or switch off a light. The person talking is also the person being served, and the whole exchange lives on their device.
An AI voice agent is built the other way round. It talks to other people on behalf of a business, over the phone network. It calls a lead who filled in a form, answers a customer who rings your number, asks questions in the caller's own language, and writes up what was said. The person it talks to has never used any app of yours.
The word assistant causes much of the confusion. People ask whether Alexa or Google can simply call their customers or answer their shop's phone, and the answer is no. They can dial a number for you, but they cannot carry on a conversation for your business.
If your question is how to run phone conversations with customers, a voice agent is the answer. If it is how to control things at home or get answers hands-free, a voice assistant is. Outpero's voice engine is called Swara, and it is built only for the first job.
When a voice assistant such as Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri is the better choice
A consumer voice assistant is the right choice for anything personal or household: setting alarms, playing music, controlling smart devices, checking the weather or asking a quick question. It is built into the phone or speaker you already own and costs nothing extra. An AI voice agent is not designed for any of that, and a voice assistant is not designed to call your customers.
